Gameplan is actively developing Gameplan ID as a Decentralized Identity (DID) and Identity Access Management (IAM) solution at the core of its ecosystem. This identity system ensures that identity-related data and key relationships are securely managed and stored on-chain, providing users with full control over their identities.

By integrating DID principles into Gameplan ID, users gain access to a secure and privacy-preserving identity system. Gameplan ID will allow for seamless authentication and access management across all Gameplan applications and interactions, ensuring that user data is verifiable, decentralized, and secure.

This system is designed to enable users to maintain their identity across different interactions and dApps within the Gameplan ecosystem, ensuring consistent and decentralized control over credentials, permissions, and social relationships. The DID approach will support self-sovereign identity, allowing users to have full authority over how their data is shared and used within the platform.

Key Features of Gameplan ID:

1. Decentralized Identity (DID) System:

   • Upon registration, users are assigned a unique Gameplan ID, which is a decentralized identifier (DID). This ID is tied to the user’s account and stored securely on the Gameplan chain.

   • The DID ensures that all transactions and interactions are verifiable and secure, leveraging the decentralized infrastructure of Gameplan to protect user data and identities.

2. Seamless User Authentication:

   • Gameplan ID is used for seamless authentication across the entire Gameplan ecosystem, covering applications such as the Marketplace, FighterSpeak, and Combat League.

   • Instead of using passwords, users authenticate with their Gameplan ID, which is cryptographically linked to their account. This allows users to perform actions and sign in securely across the platform.

3. Verifiable Credentials:

   • Gameplan ID supports Verifiable Credentials (VCs), allowing trusted third parties to issue credentials to users, such as achievements, rankings, or certifications.

   • These credentials are tied to the user’s Gameplan ID and can be used to verify their status in different contexts, such as accessing special features in FighterSpeak, trading verified assets in the Marketplace, or competing in the Combat League.

4. Privacy with Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs):

   • Gameplan ID integrates Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), allowing users to prove certain facts (e.g., tournament eligibility or rankings) without revealing personal details.

   • ZKPs ensure that users can maintain privacy while still proving their identity and credentials when interacting with applications and services in the Gameplan ecosystem.
